New Court Date

Hi All!

Since June 2005, we have been patiently trying to obtain the public records, pursuant to the California Public Records Act, of Santa Monica Community College District. The District and its attorneys have done everything to frustrate our rights to this fundamental public information.

Having exhausted our internal remedies with the District, we have been forced to seek Court intervention and have filed a lawsuit to both inspect and obtain copies of certain records belonging to our school.

Our new court date is December 23, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. in Department 85 of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Anyone who is interesting in attending this Court hearing is welcome to come. The more support we have, the better.
