Final List of Outstanding SMCCD Public Records and Deadline
I have finished the completed list of the outstanding public records due to us by Santa Monica College and have emailed Robert Sammis. This is the last chance for SMC to produce these records. Will these produce them or will we see them in Court this Thursday. Given our previous experience with them, I think we shall see them in Court. You can click on any of the links in the email below to view the Adobe PDF files which I have made or you can go to the Key Developments section of our SAVE SMC Website.

RE: FINAL LIST OF OUTSTANDING SMCCD PUBLIC RECORDS AND DEADLINE
DATE: DECEMBER 18, 2005
SENT VIA EMAIL
Dear Mr. Sammis,
Here is the final list of all five sets of written requests for public records in the custody and control of SMCCD.
SMC Public Records: Set One
SMC Public Records: Set Two
SMC Public Records: Set Three
SMC Public Records: Set Four
SMC Public Records: Set Five
These sets include our original written requests, the dates requested, whom they were addressed to, what was provided, including supplemental production, and what is still outstanding. As I have indicated in writing, there has been no inspection to date of any records.
In the spirit of compromise, I will honor your deadline of Tuesday, December 20, 2005 to pick up the complete list of outstanding documents to date. I will meet you at your office at the Academy of Entertainment & Technology promptly at 2:00 p.m. per your suggested time. Given the fact that I have repeatedly requested these documents and that I have consistently emailed District employees and yourself, making clear what has been long overdue, and since the District repeatedly promised compliance, this is adequate time frame to provide these documents.
As I have indicated in previous emails to you, the District has had months and months to comply. These five sets of requests are not new, but merely consolidated information that both the District and we had, which I have provided online for your reference to expedite compliance. This is the last extension that will be given, and this is done as a courtesy to you.
By copy of this email, please confirm by 5:00 p.m. tomorrow if SMCCD plans to fully comply with this request on this date and if you will in fact appear at this date and time to provide these documents to us. Also, please confirm in writing if the District will comply with the California Public Records Act requirement that public records will be available from now on during normal business hours.
Absent full compliance or a response from you, please be advised that we intend to move Ex Parte this coming Thursday, December 22, 2005, at 8:30 a.m. in Dept. 85 of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Thank you for your prompt response to the following.
Very Truly Yours,
Des Manttari /s/
