Santa Monica College Releases Public Records
Wednesday afternoon, December 21, 2005, I met Robert Sammis, the Vice-President of Planning and Development, at his office over at the Academy of Entertainment and Technology. To avoid going to Court Thursday, Santa Monica College released a huge stack of public records. Most of these documents appear to relate to various grants, such as Title VI-A. This time, nothing was blacked out. As a result, we released SMC from the Ex Parte this week. However, many documents are still outstanding under the California Public Records Act. I will update the lists in the near future. After the holidays are over, it will be back to Court for us to obtain the rest of the records. In the meantime, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. After six months of hard work, I definitely need a small vacation.
